Jacob Wilbert Thomas II

LFTC Financial Institution Operation Manager

  

Mr. Jacob Wilbert Thomas, II, is the Consultant and Operations Manager at the Liberian Finance & Trust Corporation (LFTC). With an extensive background in banking and financial consultancy, he brings a wealth of expertise in financial management, institutional development, and investment strategies. 

Before joining LFTC, Mr. Thomas served as a Financial Consultant at Baker Tilly Liberia, where he provided strategic advisory services and financial solutions. His vast banking experience includes key positions at several leading financial institutions, including: 

- The Liberian Bank for Development & Investment (LBDI) 

- The United Bank for Africa Liberia Limited (UBAL) 

- The First International Bank Liberia Limited (FIBLL), now SIBLL 

- International Bank Liberia Limited (IBLL)

Mr. Thomas has a strong academic foundation in finance and accounting, complemented by professional training in international financial regulations and banking operations.

- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting & Economics – African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU), Liberia (2003)

  Agnes K. Weah is a dedicated and accomplished Remittances Service Representative at Liberia Finance & Trust Corporation (LFTC) in Monrovia, Liberia. Accountant

Gbortee E. Morris III holds a BBA in Accounting with a minor in Economics from the University of Liberia. He has a Certificate of Completion in “Accounting as an Aid to Management” and has served as Secretary to the Chairman on Rules, Order, and Administration at the NTLA. Gbortee has taught at various educational levels and lectured at Evangel Christian University College. He is proficient in accounting principles, financial management, and has a strong understanding of credit unions. His experience includes maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts. Gbortee has also successfully managed microfinance initiatives, providing small loans to credit union members. He is a dedicated professional committed to continuous learning and teamwork.  Gbortee is known for his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to streamline financial processes. His contributions have significantly improved financial transparency and accountability in the organizations he has worked with. Romel P. Flomo is an accomplished and experienced electrician, with 5 years of hands-on expertise in the electrical industry. His proficiency extends across both residential and commercial domains, encompassing installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. Romel’s unwavering commitment to safety and collaborative teamwork positions him as a valuable asset for any project. Romel excels in installing electrical components such as lights, switches, receptacles, and wiring for both homes and businesses. His meticulous approach ensures reliable electrical systems. Romel conducts thorough electrical audits, assessing power requirements and recommending optimal solutions. His familiarity with generators ensures efficient operations for businesses. Romel’s network extends beyond circuits; he is well-connected with prominent electrical component suppliers which give him the ability to quickly source and access critical. 

Romel received his Electrical Certification from NetLib Vocation Training Institution in 2018. He is certifiied Solar Energy Installation since 2018 and is passionate about renewable energy. Romel is equipped to handle high-power commercial projects and industrial projects. 

Romel is the electrician for Liberia Finance & Trust Corporation as well as the John H. Roberts building. He understands the building’s electrical needs.

Massa G. Govergo

Regulatory and Compliance Consultant

Massa Guiyan Govergo is the Operation Manager at Liberia Finance & Trust Corporation. Massa is an experienced banker having worked at  National Housing & Savings Bank, Atlantic Finance Corporation, Strategic Consultant Group, and Liberia Business Incubator (LBI) in Monrovia, Liberia.  Alongside his managerial roles, he has also served as an instructor at Lincoln College of Professional Studies. Massa holds a BBs degree in Accounting and Management from AME University. He is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Liberia
